More than just tutors
Our tutors make up the foundation of the Excel team. Unlike other companies, we recruit our tutors on a personal level so that we can testify their excellence. Rather than searching the masses, joining our team is by "recommendation-only", so that only the strongest candidates can help our students excel.

DAREEN
Hi! My name is Dareen Hallak and I am a Chemistry major at the University of Calgary. I have a passion for science and I’m always willing to learn more. I enjoy helping others which is why I integrate it into everything I do whether it is educational, personal, or volunteer work. Each student’s view about a concept is unique to them, and I learn more about science the more I understand the way others view it. It provides you with a deeper understanding of the concept that you can’t get from a classroom, which is what inspired me to tutor and enjoy my sessions.

KAREEN
Hi! My name is Kareen Hallak, I’m currently a second year business student at the University of Calgary. The reason I became a tutor is because in high school I had great teachers who helped me achieve academic and personal success. They were role models not only because of the knowledge they passed onto us, but also my teachers ensured that the class would be given all the resources needed to succeed. My goal is to be able to pass the knowledge I have in test-taking, study habits, and educational material to help students in high school attain their academic goals.
